Hi there!
Welcome to my little sunny corner, nice to meet you!
I am a Spanish girl living in Helsinki.
I run a small wall decal company called Made of Sundays. When I'm not designing, cutting or packing stickers, I enjoy traveling, eating well, hanging out in my other blog and doing illustrations for the awesome guys at Sundays.
You can see my portfolio in here.
I love daydreaming, puppies, kittens or anything fluffy. I hate waking up before 7 am, the word "winter", non crispy bacon and uncooperative hair.
My favorite food is ice-cream, waffles and street food in general.
My favourite movies are My Neighbor Totoro, Amelie or anything by Wes Anderson.
After 7 years living in Finland I thought that it would be nice to have a place where I could share my experiences in this country as well as lots of other random nonsense.
I hope you enjoy it here!
What a lovely blog you have! I stumbled upon it and will be following your posts from nowon. :) Lovely photos and it is fun to read of you feelings of Finland and the Finns as someone living here. :) Different perspective than us locals in many ways. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm always super happy when a Finn likes my blog!!! you made my day :-)
DeleteHola Alba! I just discovered your blog and I love it. I am coming to Helsinki for essentially half a day next weekend, and wanted to see what are the 3 musts to do/see/eat in this town. What would you recommend? Thank you and cheers!
ReplyDeleteDear Anna! welcome to Helsinki!!
DeleteActually, I have written a "Helsinki in one day" guide in my other blog at http://www.tasteofsundays.com/blog/guide-helsinki-one-day/ you could just do part of the route if you don't have the whole day. You will see I have put numbers to the different attractions and places to eat, so at least do not leave without checking out the 7,8,9 and 18... if you have time for lunch I would recommend Story (http://restaurantstory.fi/), which is inside the food market by the harbor. If you are here for dinner, then head to Konstan Moljia for homemade Finnish food http://www.kolumbus.fi/konstanmolja/ or to Sandro (number 14 in my guide) if you want something more modern. I hope I was helpful! Enjoy Helsinki!
Thank you SO so much! I will absolutely make sure of this!
DeleteYou are more than welcome Anna! If you have any other questions about lovely Helsinki you know where to find me! :-D
